| Anna Paquin was born in New Zealand and raised in Canada. She is a Canadian-New Zealander actor who appeared in films such as The Piano The Piano, Fly Away Home, X-Men. However, her fate was not as planned. In the aftermath of her breakout performance in her debut film, she received numerous offers, but turned down in order to concentrate on the studies. Her return to film came at 14 years old, taking on roles like Jane Eyre and Fly Away Home. Her role in"X-Menthe: X-Menfilm" was the first one to make her famous. The actress reprised her role in the role of Roguein sequels like X2 and X-Men The Last Stand.She also made brief appearances on screen, most notably in Elaine Goodalein's Bury My Heart at Wounded Kneefor which she received her first Emmynomination. She soon received opportunities to be part of TV series and was eventually cast for shows such as True Bloodand Flack. |
