A glittering professional's career can conceal many of the most tragic stories. Lolo Jones, athlete of the USA and World hurdle championships has achieved the status he has achieved after years of dedication and endurance. A single mother with five kids, Jones had a difficult and difficult childhood. She was constantly moving around and even resided in the basement of a church for a short duration. Jones had to be moved to a different school each throughout her time in high school as a result of her nomadic life. Also, she participated on the runner up team for 100-meter relay. In 2003 and in 2004, Jones won the hurdles indoor event at the NCAA Championship. Jones started her track career in the year 2005, when she finished her university studies. Jones won each of the Torino Memorial and the Heusden Track races in the same year.

Born and raised in Cape Town South Africa Brandt immigrated with her family to Auckland New Zealand in her late teens. The local casting directors discovered her. Brandt was cast in the role of Naevia on the Starz hit series Spartacus: Blood and Sand as well as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. She was one of the breakout stars for the show, working alongside Steven S. D Knight & Sam Raimi. Mazikeen, a fan-favorite DC/Vertigo character from comics and Vertigo/DC series Lucifer played her part in this hit Netflix show. Forbes listed Lucifer, the world's most-watched series for 2021. Brandt will be next seen with Andrew Lincoln, Danai Guarira as well as others Walking Dead cast members in the six episode Walking Dead spinoff that airs in 2020. The July 2023 episode of the Netflix adult-oriented comedy Captain Fall, Brandt stars alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni. Lesley Ann Brandt, born 2nd December 1981 in Cape Town South Africa. She is one talented New Zealander actor. Lesley Brandt, along with her whole family, moved from the United States to Auckland New Zealand back in 1999. In Auckland, Brandt began as an agent for sales, and later was promoted into the role of an IT expert. Lesley was featured in a variety of commercial ads after several modeling projects. In 2008 she graduated from her majors and studied Meisner techniques for studying. Her first major acting work was with the TV drama series Diplomatic Immunity in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt appeared in the New Zealand drama Shortland Street, as a visitor supporting part. Then she was in the Sci-fi drama called This Is Not My Life which is based upon the anecdotal town of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt was cast in the Television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia who was a teenager hostage. She was later depicted her character in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena miniseries.
