Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actor most famously known for her role as Bo in the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was created at Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay and Peter Silk were both professors. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. She's the director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories when she was at rehearsals for play with her mother. Silk was featured in many commercials while she was just a child. She graduated from St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Early theater work includes at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto to pursue her acting career in the month of November 1999. She then, over the decade that followed, she relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met during an Actors' Workshop located in Los Angeles. In 2009, the couple were married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. The couple renewed their vows April 10th 2011 at Fredericton with a Jewish wedding ceremony, after Silk made the decision to convert to Judaism. Silk had the son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second child was born the 13th of May, in 2016. Silk's TV work is a part of Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009 she was cast as Bo Dennis, the lead Bo Dennis in the series Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during shooting the final season of the third series. Silk announced her pregnancy to the viewers in her Showcase Season Three pre-show special on January 6, 2013. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the beginning of production for the fourth season. On June 20 2013 Silk announced via Twitter that she was back to the series. CNN has named Bo's character along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples of all time. E! voted it the top couple on TV of 2013. Entertainment Television. As a result of Silk's popularity Silk has earned a significant presence on social media.
